Biography
She is an economist from the “Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México” (ITAM), and has a master's degree in economics with special mention from the University of Essex, Great Britain. She is in charge of the planning, coordination, execution and periodic evaluation of the Digital Inclusion Program, which seeks to promote the incorporation of the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the teaching-learning process.
Prior to this, she was responsible for complying with the objective of Quality Education of the National Digital Strategy in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic. During her collaboration at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC, she worked on impact evaluation projects in the educational area and participated in the design and implementation of a pilot program of financial inclusion in rural areas of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and DICONS.
Additionally, she supported the Presidency of the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (CONSAR), and was an assistant at the “Colegio de México” (COLMEX) and the Economic Research and Teaching Center (CIDE).
