Biography
Sonia is an expert in telecommunications policies and regulation counting on over 20 years of experience in the sector. She examines regulatory issues and market developments across Latin America and covers operator strategies. Focuses on operator performance, ongoing regulatory issues, spectrum auctions, network deployment, and product and service launches, and analyzes key trends in Latin America.
Previously she was the Manager for evolution and regulation strategy at Telecom Argentina. Sonia is a frequent speaker at several local and international forums, including LTE Latin America, MVNO Latin America, Mexican Telecoms Forum, Telecom Regulation Forum and the Spectrum Forum. She is also a judge of the GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards. Is a Honor Role Public Accountant and has an MBA of Universidad del CEMA. She has developed the Executive Program of the Universidad Di Tella of Buenos Aires.
